Our family run pub and bed and breakfast offer affordable rooms to explore the local area. We are within easy reach of the historical port of Charlestown, Eden project and the lost gardens of Heligan.
Mount Charles historically known as Parnell’s Barn originally had three pubs the only remaining pub is the Duke of Cornwall.
The name Mount Charles comes from Charles Rashleigh as it stood at the top of the hill above Charlestown.
We have two welcoming bars. The lounge bar has an open fire and a breakfast room for staying guests and is the quieter bar. The main bar has a pool table and jukebox and plenty of seating areas. To the rear of the pub and accessible through the pub and the carpark is a large patio which is a real sun trap.
